Christopher D. Crowley is the Director of the U.S. Agency
for International Development's (USAID) Regional Mission for Ukraine,
Moldova and Belarus. As Director, Mr. Crowley is responsible for
administering over $115 million in annual economic assistance for all three
countries. Mr. Crowley has been a member of the U.S. Foreign Service for
over 3O years. Mr. Crowley was the director of USAID's assistance program in
West Bank/ Gaza from 1994-99, and he has also served in Egypt, India, Syria,
Korea and Vietnam. Mr. Crowley was raised in Cincinnati, graduating from St.
Francis Xavier High School in 1962.
Mr. Crowley is in Ohio accompanying the Governor Yevgen Kushnaryov of
Ukraine's Kharkiv regional administration. Kharkiv is a sister city of
Cincinnati, Ohio. This tour was made possible by USAID and the Center
