Web Site Promotes Business for Ukrainian Companies
September 9, 1999, Cincinnati, Ohio USA. -- The Center for Economic Initiatives (CEI) today announced a major upgrade of its Internet web site, www.ukrainebiz.com. The site is dedicated to fostering trade and investment contacts between Ukrainian companies and the rest of the world.
The web site has been re-designed into two main sections.
One section contains descriptions of Ukrainian companies seeking to do business with companies located outside Ukraine. Companies in this section are grouped by industry and Oblast, or region.
The second section contains descriptions of companies outside Ukraine that are interested in doing business with Ukrainian firms.
Through the web site, companies are able to submit information on their products and services. CEI then creates an individual page and a unique web address for each company. There is no charge for this service.
Companies currently listed on www.ukrainebiz.com offer products and services in a variety of industries, including food, meat and sugar processing, dairy, edible oils, manufacturing and chemicals.
The Center for Economic Initiatives is an independent not-for-profit corporation whose objective is to provide assistance and training for business in the former Soviet Union. More information about CEI is available on the web site.
