Lux Sales S.A. is an Irish family owned company and the
majority of our directors are based in Ireland. Our sales and co-ordination is
handled from Luxembourg, "The heart of Europe" due to it’s excellent
situation from where we market our products world-wide.
Our Policy
We believe we can be successful by offering "finest quality products, stunningly
packaged at great prices" and telling it like it is. The world of spirits is
full of "Myths" for example:
"The Scotch whisky distilled on the Isles off the west of Scotland is best because of
the rolling mist, the soil and the stunning beauty of the country".
THE TRUTH: why you have so many distilleries on the Isles is simply because in olden days
of horse and carriage the government could not collect taxes from the Isles.
"Johnny Walker are the biggest (they sponsor the Ryder Cup) why should we drink Glen
Garry GOLD".
THE TRUTH: Can’t argue with the fact that Johnny Walker is a huge brand (they have
spent millions in advertising to drum it into us) but we cannot see how anyone can but
agree that "Glen Garry GOLD" is a better tasting blend.
Our Agents
These people are the most important aspect of our business. We provide them with the
quality and they take on the brands and control every aspect of selling in their
particular territories.
As you can see our agents buy at greatly reduced margins to enable them to invest the
savings in promoting the products within their territories. Agents purchase an agreed
minimum quantity per year and in return they have exclusive rights to the brands within
their territory. We pass ALL inquiries for the products directly to the agents who work on
an exclusive basis.
We are the proud owners of what we call our "Natural Born" range of finest
spirits which we
distribute via our agents. "Natural Born" because of our origins in Ireland
where our family
was famed for making the finest "Poitin" (a strong, but illegal, spirit made
from potatoes)
from the 1920’s. Things have moved on since then and all our brands are produced
using "state
of the art" equipment.
