Scientific Castings, founded in 1970’s, has been dedicating all its efforts to the casting and machining activities of rolls for Steel Re-Rolling mills, grains & cereals, feeds, oil seeds etc. The company is located at Historical City Malerkotla, 300 kms. north of New Delhi, the capital of India. 

Scientific Castings, is the pioneer in India for manufacturing chilled rolls by centrifugal Casting process of European Technique casting process using the double pour technique. Over the last three decades the process has been developed at our foundry and rolls of highest quality standards are manufactured and supplied to satisfied customers all over the India.

We are proud of our product, which when supplied to our customers and brought into use by them yield’s them laudable results, and we in turn, get highly commendable comments coupled with recurring orders, which is an eloquent testimony to the precision of our goods, which are manufactured by us with superior technology and selective raw material with following main features:

1. Our Rolls are centrifugally cast with dual metal pouring. This process is unique in India and gives fine grain and increased Roll strength. 
2. The microstructure of the rolls working surface consists of cementite, fedeburite and fine dispersion partite. 
3. Mostly we supply Chilled Rolls with Chill depth of 20 mm to 25 mm and hardness ranging from 475 to 525 BHN according to requirements.
4. We supply Rolls fitted with EN-8 or En-9 Steel Shafts/Spindles or according to customer’s requirement.
5. We manufacture Rolls ranging from a minimum diameter of 127 mm. to a maximum of 610 mm.
