Alpha Ltd. was established in 1993 as a closed joint-stock company. The company is located in Berdychiv, Zhytomyr Region. The enterprise has its own tool shop, and most production tools (i.e., molding forms and stamps) are made on the premises. The company's annual sales are approximately US$l million. Alpha Ltd. seeks to establish a joint venture to manufacture electronic products for Ukrainian and other NIS markets. In particular, the company is interested in assembling and/or manufacturing cordless 900 MHz DSS and DSSS telephone units. A U.S. partner would provide technological assistance and partial financing. Alpha Ltd. will contribute its industry contact base and distribution network. In addition, Alpha, Ltd. is interested in becoming a distributor of U. S.-made light switch dimmers, back-up lights, lamps with batteries, and cordless 900 MHz spread spectrum telephone sets. |
