89.5% of the shares of this firm are owned by the Closed JSC "Progress AGRO" and 10.5 % are owned by individuals. There is no state ownership. The buildings and equipment of the plant are valued at $850,000.  The company has the capacity to produce 120,000 liters of milk per day.  However, this is restricted by a shortage of raw milk supplies.

In 1999 a condensed milk production line is planned to be purchased and installed. This will provide capacity to process 70,000 additional liters of milk per day.

Further expansion of production is possible with implementation of up-to-date technologies and equipment. This implies drying milk and its fractions, the manufacture of yogurts and ice cream in modern packages with long shelf life.

The management is very entrepreneurial and has been able to reduce the company debt significantly in the last three years.
