Everest
was founded in October 1994 as a Ltd company. It has a collective form of
ownership. Currently it employs 58 people out of which 17 are in
administration.
The main activity is the production and sale of bakery and confectionery goods.
The
enterprise is located in the city of Kharkov. It has its own production
facilities as well as trade outlets. The bakery is situated on Traktorostroiteley Ave. and the grocery store is
located near the “Geroyev Truda” subway station. “Everest” has its
own kiosk, located in the bakery building where customers can always buy
freshly-baked bread and buns.
Everest distributes its products through a network of grocery stores and cafes which contracted for daily deliveries. They also sell to kindergartens and schools.
In 2000 the company introduced two new products but
the sales are low. They have also started making doughnuts seen in the
U.S.
The company provides the following bakery products:

Square bread, bran bread, rye bread, home-made bread, mustard bread, and “Moskovskiy” long loaves
Confectionery

Twist, doughnuts, boublik, mustard bun, rolls with raisins, rolls with jam, cinnamon bun, poppy triangle, vanilla bun, small twist.
