Helvex Financial Agency Ltd is a small Ukrainian investment banking company specialized in
mergers and acquisitions services.
We have operated in Ukraine since the beginning of 1998 and have finished over 17 complex projects. We
have been the lead manager in acquisitions of privatized companies, were independent advisors
during several financial restructuring deals and are advisors in corporate finance. We
provided advice for the creation of several joint ventures with companies from
the U.S., Japan, Russia, Israel and several countries of Europe. Also, we have taken part in the privatization process acting as an
advisor as well as a broker. Some project reports resumes are stored in World Bank
DACON database of consultants, of which Helvex is a member.
Our combination of international approach with local experts makes up a team that is familiar
with western standards of service but also knows how to master the intricacies of
Ukrainian business. We employ 12 persons in Ukraine. We have strong legal and economic
expertise. Helvex specialists also do a great deal of research work in area of M&A practice in
Ukraine.
Though we do not operate in portfolio investment sector, we are fully licensed for brokerage,
dealing and underwriting by Securities and Exchange Commission of Ukraine and are
members of PFTS. To reduce clients' expenses
for re-registering the shares of targeted companies we established a separate registrar company fully licensed under Ukrainian law. It helps our clients in register keeping and corporate governance paperwork.
Helvex issues a weekly Ukrainian Investment Newsletter that is officially supplied to its
pages in Reuters, Bloomberg, Internet Securities as well as to Bridge and Euromoney agencies.
It is also available at our site for free subscription.
In September of 2000 with our international partners, we have taken part in our new Internet
