Ladies
and Gentlemen, Our institute is one of the leading Ukrainian centers aimed at transfer of formerly “closed” technologies into the civilian sphere of economics. Many competent specialists work here, and we dispose of a number of highly effective technologies for various branches of industry, far surpassing their existing analogs. These technologies are fully completed works, feasible for industrial applications and needing no additional research. They could certainly greatly contribute to industrial development of this country, as well as to lowering pollution of the environment in this and other parts of the world. Unfortunately, under current economical conditions in Ukraine neither business
structures, nor governmental bodies seem to be over interested in
harnessing these progressive technologies. That is why, continuing our
work inside this country, we are at the same time trying to find ways to
distribute them in other countries. Ecological problems are common for the
whole world and should therefore be solved in cooperation. In this
connection, we would like to propose for your consideration and possible
joint promoting a complex set of technologies that effectively solve the
main problems of agriculture, production of high-quality drinking water,
food preservation, treating sewage, rust protection, etc. (Please see the
attached material, titled “Formerly “closed”, environmentally safe
technologies and equipment, saving materials and power resources and meant
to be used in agriculture, industry, power and civil engineering, as well
as in the field of transportation”.) The proposed technologies highly
transcend any analogs existing at present in Ukraine or elsewhere in their
ecological, economical and technical characteristics. Some of them are
just unique. Concrete forms and details of mutually beneficial collaboration between IIEST and
your organization could be determined in the course of further talks - via
electronic mail, phone, fax, or in personal contacts. I and my colleagues would greatly appreciate your attention to our

The investment amount is in US dollars under the current economic conditions in Ukraine. 1. Ecologically clean fertilizer. Ecologically clean organic fertilizer "Extra", being once introduced into soil in a small proportion, ensures a stable high crop of nitrate-free agricultural produce in the course of several years. The resulting humus greatly surpasses the humus, obtained with the help of Californian worms, as well as other patented analogs, in its agrochemical, ecological and economical characteristics. There is in it no ptomaine poison, seeds of weeds, eggs and larvae of pests, or other pollutants. “Extra” is manufactured from the manure of cattle, bird droppings, and other organic raw materials. Period of self-repayment is less than one year.
2. Ecologically pure premixes A universal industrial technology for production of ecologically pure premixes (fodder admixtures) from different plant residues (straw, sunflower stalk, beet-root vine, silage, grass stalk, bush brunches, etc.) has been worked out. This technology allows to eliminate such drawbacks of conventional premixes as high cost and low quality (microelements contained in inorganic salts - sulphates, chlorides, etc. - are poorly digested by domestic animals). The premixes offered are manufactured by inclusion of microelements into the natural vegetable compounds in the form of unstable complexes. A high level of microelement digestion is achieved. The fodder is free from toxic adulterants usually present in industrial reagents (in case of conventional technologies). 3. Automated hydroponic vegetating complex. This complex is meant for cultivating indoors, the whole year round, the green forage from the seeds of cereals, pulse, as well as other crops during 6-8 days. The forage mass increases in six times, nutritious value in three times, with the same consumption of raw materials. On the working area of 160 square meters up to 1000 kilograms of the succulent feed is obtained, what is equal in its productivity to 20 hectares of usual plough-land. The complex is successfully used to rear cattle, pigs, birds, fish. It may be used to cultivate vegetables and germinate cereals for food. 4. An installation for processing seeds in an electrical field with application of electron-ion technology This installation provides high-output (4-5 tons per hour) processing of seeds of various cultures (grain, vegetables, technical cultures) with the subsequent increase of the productivity by 20-30% (in case of cotton - 60%), improvement of storage (insects, bacteria, spores are being annihilated), reduction of the conventional planting norms by 5-10%. Power consumption does not exceed 0.4 kW. 5. An installation for stimulation of germination of barley seeds in the production of malt. It allows to intensify the production of malt at breweries with application of electron-ion technology. The barley is germinated faster, and at the same time more complete protein hydrolysis takes place with its transition into water soluble state. After three days germination, the barley contains 3.56% of sugar, after five days - 5.10%, and in a dry state - 6.05%. The product comes out of better qualities, in comparison to that of the conventional technology, from the point of view of soluble substances and ability to produce sugars. 6. Storage of medicinal plant raw materials, vegetables and fruits. This electron-ion device is meant for treatment of fruits and vegetables in repositories and means of transportation. It keeps the fruits and vegetables practically intact in the usual air environment, preserving and even improving their gustatory and culinary properties for the whole shelf life. The device enables to preserve more than 95% of the fruits and vegetables. Power consumption - 1.5 kW.
7. Ecologically clean water. The “Live Water - 1” device is meant for super-fine purification and disinfection of fluids. Based on the electron-ion technology, it makes possible to quickly wipe out microorganisms and spores from fluids, as well as to separate the tiniest mechanical impurities. The device may be used to produce high-quality drinking water that preserves its molecular structure and retains its properties during three years, to manufacture food products, to treat sewage, etc. Also it may be used for preservation of water, liquid and paste-like food stuff without heating or adding conservants (milk, juices, medicinal preparations, beer, etc.). Depending on the number of working units in the device, its productivity may vary considerably. Productivity of one unit is 1-4 m3 (depending on desired parameters of the resulting product) of processed fluid per hour, power consumption 0.5 kW, weight 80 kilograms.
8. Disinfection of fluids, air, soil. The electron-ion technology may be used for super-fine purification and disinfection of fluids, air, soil - which is of much importance for breweries, dairy plants, meat-packing plants, stock-breading complexes and poultry plants, etc. 9. Production and distribution of high-quality drinking water. Our filters and methods of organization of the distribution of water allow to obtain the product that is in full accordance with international standards of quality, being at the same time much cheaper. This technology also allows to preserve intact the water molecular structure. 10. Cleaning filters for water. These filters are meant for primary and additional cleaning of water. Ranging in productivity from domestic to industrial, they effectively clean water from toxic and carcinogenic substances of mineral and organic origin. Methods of cleaning: chemical adsorption (for such heavy metals as copper, lead, cadmium, etc., nitrites and nitrates); physical adsorption (for petroleum products, phenols, pesticides and herbicides, chlorine, etc.). Water passing through the filters keeps its biological properties and natural taste due to preservation of salts and trace elements that are vitally essential for human health. Cleaning efficiency: 92.0 - 99.9%. The filters’ cost is lower and their quality is higher than those of similar devices that are manufactured in Ukraine or abroad. Depending on the level of initial contamination of the water and the requirements to the level of its cleaning, we can offer different combinations of the cleaning elements and materials for the filters of various productivity. In any case we guarantee the highest quality of the resulting water and the cost of the process that is much lower than that for existing analogs: from 0.3 to 1.5 US cents per liter.
Filters-separators are meant to clean drinking and mineral water, food products, medicinal preparations, biological mediums, hydrocarbonaceous fuel from mechanical impurities and gases (including corrosive ones). They are supplied with high-effective filtering elements of the FEP type. Bulk porosity: 65-75%, fineness of cleaning: up to 0.5 mm, cleaning efficiency: up to 99.9%. These filters ensure, in particular, 100% separation of water from diesel fuel and can work under temperatures from 4°K till 523°K. Their resistance to attack by corrosive media is higher than that of noble metals. The filters may be regenerated 20-30 times. They are allowed to be used in food industry.
12. A device effectively treating sewage by means of electric pulses It cleans sewage, without any chemical reagents, from physical, chemical, biological and radioactive contaminants, including heavy metals, petroleum products, lubricants, coolants, toxic and carcinogenic substances, microorganisms and radionuclides (in particular, the radionuclide content decreases in 100 times). 13. A method to pasteurize liquid food products without heating them or adding preservatives. This method makes it possible to pasteurize liquid and paste-like food products (milk, mayonnaise, beer, soft drinks, etc) without heating them or adding any preservatives. It may also be used to stabilize wines in the process of their manufacturing. The process contributes to better fragrance of the wines. 14. Environmentally safe smoking of meat and fish. Our ion-plasma technology results in reducing the smoking time from 12-20 hours to 0.5-1 hour only. Accordingly the amount of carcinogenic resinous substances in the smoked products decreases in ten times. Weight loss in the products also decreases, their gustatory qualities raise considerably. Smoked sausages, fat, brisket, hens, fish are dense, not wrinkled, and therefore more attractive for consumer. Productivity of the smoke-house raises in 10-20 times, its expenditure decreasing. 15. Food additives with microelements and anti-stress preparations made from plant raw materials. We propose a number of extracts from medicinal herbs, containing vitamins, amino-acids, micro- and macro-elements, as well as other biologically active substances of organic origin, balanced in accordance with the human organism. These extracts include, in particular, biostimulating and adaptogenic ones, normalizing metabolism and immunological stability, restoring normal physiological processes in the cells, correcting the ecological disballance between the organism and the environment. Some additives of new generation are used as the best existing antistress preparations and means for post-stress rehabilitation. 16. Generators of light ions of atmospheric oxygen. This technology allows to turn the atmospheric air into one of the most effective and easy-to-obtain healing means. When treating 1181 persons, sick with various diseases, there were obtained the following results: complete recovery - 70%, improvement - 25%, no shifts - 5%, worsening - 0%. (As an example, for the initial phase of pulmonary tuberculosis: complete recovery - 94%, improvement - 6%). As distinct from the so-called “Chizhevsky’s lustre”, our devices may be used both singly and incorporated into air conditioners of new generation (meant for domestic or industrial use).
17. Universal composite hard lubricant (TS-technology). The hard lubricant forms a protective layer on the mechanical parts made from ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, polymers and rubbers, considerably lowering losses on friction and wearing and increasing the service life of machines and mechanisms. It may be used as a component of greases, filling agent in thermosoftening and thermosetting plastic materials. The lubricant effectively works in hydrocarbonaceous mediums, water, acids and alkalis. It is stable and its price is much lower than that of the RVS-compounds.
18. Restoring mechanical parts with the deposition by spraying. Our technology allows to obtain in this way high-quality coatings on the most crucial parts of mechanisms with the help of a relatively cheap home-made equipment, improved on the basis of our “know-how”. As materials for electrodes one may use wire of different composition. There are restored and hardened crankshafts, various parts of tilling, mining, building etc. machines. 19. High-dispersion spraying of fluids. Spray guns with a torus-shaped spray chamber make it possible to obtain drops some 5-40 micrometers in diameter and high-quality foam, to produce water-dust screens very efficient when fighting fire at gas and oil wells, in coal mines, as well as in forests. Such devices may also be used to spray vegetations and introduce herbicides from aircraft. 20. Activators of combustion. These devices are used to improve completeness of combustion of solid, liquid, and gaseous fuel in furnaces of boilers, heating furnaces, metallurgical units, internal combustion engines, and other equipment. Efficiency of power plants increases considerably, being accompanied by a high purity of combustion and a sharp drop in toxicity of the exhaust which corresponds to the international environmental standards. 21. Heat insulation. We propose an effective technology and equipment to produce new durable materials for building and heat insulation. They are manufactured from usual ash, sand, broken glass, various foundry waste, etc. Their thermal conductivity is equal to 0.046-0.049 W/mK, what is in several times less than that of their analogs; porosity - up to 90%; density - up to 80 kg/m3; operating temperature range from ‑50°C to +600°C. These materials cost in several times less than those used in modern power and building industry. 22. Salvaging of used tires. Our technologies make it possible to transform used tires into finely divided powder with definite sizes of particles. Various valuable products are made from this powder: new tires, sealing compounds, noise-absorbing mastics, coatings for devices working in highly corrosive environment, roof and road coatings, etc. The technologies are very efficient both in economical and ecological respects. 23. Anti-scale protection. It is achieved with the help of automatic electronic magnetohydrodynamic resonators, preventing formation of scale and carbonate deposit without any direct contact with the surface. The devices may be effectively used in pipelines, heat exchangers, coolers, valves and other units, radically solving the problem of their cleaning. They are automatically adjusted according to the variable hardness of water at a wide range of the latter. 24. Rust protection for boilers when standing idle. We propose an original method of rust-preventing treatment of the equipment with forming a high-quality protective film. This film ensures even a long standing the equipment idle without any trace of corrosion for a period from two months to five years. 25. Coating for bodies and impellers of centrifugal pumps. An efficient method to protect working surfaces of pumps against corrosion and erosion is to cover them with protecting coatings made on the basis of polymer powder compositions with high operating characteristics. These are: tensile strength - 6-65 mPa; the working temperature range - 60-150°C; thickness of coating - 300-500 micrometers; working longevity - 6,000-10,000 hours. The coating may be applied either manually, or automatically in a special coating chamber. It is water- and moisture-resistant, as well as resistant against acids, alkalis, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, lubricating oils, fuel, crude oil. 26. Protecting mettalopolymer coating. It may be used to cover external and internal surfaces of industrial equipment (filters, tanks for petroleum products, etc.). They are meant for work during many years in acid and alkaline mediums. Guaranteed longevity is up to 30 years (depending on the composition and operating conditions). Its resistance to attack by corrosive media is higher than that of stainless steel and even noble metals. May be used in farmacy and food industry. In several times cheaper than its analogs existant. 27. Coating of tubes and pipes with polymer materials. It is made on the external and internal surfaces with dry powder polymer paints, ensuring high resistance against attack by corrosive media that surpasses that of stainless steel and even noble metals. The process of coating is realized on an automatic transfer line, including preliminary cleaning, passivation, coating, and thermal treatment. Hourly output of a unit is equal to 100 square meters of coating; the guaranteed longevity of the latter is up to 30 years. 28. A low temperature swelling fire-prevention covering. The covering protects elements of buildings and warehouses constructions, equipment, electric lines, as well as petroleum in tanks, from a fire. It is manufactured at a usual dyestuffs equipment. The covering is spread over a surface as a usual paint. Its techical characteristics are much higher than those of its existing foreing analogs. Temperature of swelling - 120°C, the interval of working temperatures - -50-+50°C. 29. Composite coating to protect constructions against marine growth. Marine growth of hydrotechnical constructions considerably harms their functioning. IIEST has developed and introduced into practice a composite coating that effectively protects submerged constructions against this danger. This metallo-polymer coating has all necessary physical, mechanical, adhesive etc properties, as well as water- and oil-resistance and decorativeness. It protects underwater constructions both from marine growth and rust. The coating ensures 100% protection against microorganisms and larvae. Guaranteed longevity (depending on the working conditions) is from 1 to 5 years. 30. Tie plates. Railway transport consumes a great amount of tie plates that are employed as shock-absorbers and insulators, increasing working longevity of ties. Our technology makes it possible to manufacture high-quality tie plates from cheap industrial waste. They meet all requirements to such products, having the following working characteristics: impact strength - 40 kJ/m2; water absorption during 24 hours - 0.05%; abrasive wear - 0.2 mm3/m; brittle temperature -50°C; bending stress 9.9 mPa; swelling in the axle oil of the “A” mark during 24 hours - 0.05%. We can guarantee that working longevity of these tie plates, even used in the hardest conditions, will exceed that of the track structure. 31. Stepless mechanical gear-box (variator). We have developed a variator that can transmit practically unlimited torque. Gear ratio may vary from zero (that is, the output shaft may stop completely, whereas the input shaft continues to rotate) to much greater than one. Variator works steadily through the whole range of the gear ratio. This device may completely replace the unit “clutch - gear-box” in motor cars and decrease fuel consumption up to 15-20%. Variator can also be used in any systems where it is necessary to transmit and transform torques and angular velocities. 32. Air conditioners of new generation. We propose joint development and manufacture of air conditioners of new generation - both for domestic and industrial use - that are able to increase and decrease temperature and humidity of the air, as well as to disinfect it and to saturate it with light ions of oxygen. 33. Security signaling systems. Microwave monitoring and signaling devices “Promin Radio & Video” are meant to protect various important objects - atomic power plants, military installations, factories, state frontiers, penitentiary institutions, bridges and dams, drilling rigs and oil fields, oil and gas pipe-lines, trains and road trains in parkings, banks, offices, houses, etc. These devices ensure monitoring of: 1) fenced and non-fenced perimeters of practically any length; 2) territories with an intricate relief and sea shore; 3) local areas of a few square meters; 4) ways leading to an object, including the upper hemisphere; 5) areas around buildings; 6) inner spaces in buildings.
