The Kharkiv Oil & Fat Plant is one of the oldest in the industry in Ukraine. It is the oldest in edible oil processing and mayonnaise, margarine and salted pork fat production. It was put into operation in 1932. In the 1960s, new equipment was installed and new technologies of margarine and mayonnaise manufacturing were applied. Old workshops were enlarged and new workshops built. The company currently has 821 employees.
The plant is equipped with automatic lines which produce margarine and mayonnaise in large block containers, a separation line for refining and deodorizing. A soft filling margarine production line is in operation. Recently there was installed newly imported equipment for packaging mayonnaise in polyethylene containers.
We are looking for potential partners for marketing and distribution.
We want to find a partner who can help us reach the following annual production figures: 20,000 tons of margarine, 8,000 tons of mayonnaise, 2,000 tons per year of refined odorless edible oil packed in PET bottles requiring an additional oxygen plant.
We are ready to enter into agreement to purchase raw materials (edible oils, egg powder, foil for margarine packaging, parchment, polyethylene films), equipment for margarine and mayonnaise manufacturing and edible oils cleaning and blending.
The company supplies a wide range of products:
- Cooking margarines
- Sandwich margarines
- Shortenings
- Mayonnaise with horseradish, garlic, onion, mushroom and fennel natural flavors
- Fat free soft margarine and high calorie margarine with radiation protective which no analogy in the oil fat industry.
A representative of this company was selected to participate in the Marshall Plan Meat, Dairy and Edible Oils study tour to the USA in September 1998.
