The Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant, a Joint Stock Company, is one
of the largest and oldest producers of pipes in Europe. The plant produces large
diameter steel welded pipes as the main commodity products. The range of produced
pipes exceeds 500 combinations of types, grades, dimensions and groups (according to a
guaranteed quality index).
Most of the main products produced by the plant meet international standards and are
certified by The American Petroleum Institute (Specification API 5L).
The plant is located in an advantageous geographical region with a wide network of
highways and railways that connect it with ports on the Azov and Black seas.

The company is looking for customers from all over the world. Taking into account
transportation costs, the plant usually supplies the pipes for the pipelines built in
Africa, Europe and Asia. However, the firm also welcomes customers from North and South
America, Australia, etc.

The company is also looking for investors to upgrade the plant and facilities and to
broaden its range of products.
In the very near future, the Ukrainian government plans to sell about 25 percent of the
company's stock at non-commercial auction (tender) in which the buyer will be chosen
according to the quality of investment plans for the company rather than price. |
