One of the biggest film studios in Europe, the National Cinematheque of Ukraine "Kyivnaukfilm" was created in 1992 as a successor of former national film studio operating since 1941.
In 1994 it was registered in the International "Golden Book" (p.164), London, UK. The firm possesses full technological cycle and all the necessary facilities for the production of cinematographic products of any type in professional 35 mm technology standard. It occupies the territory of 8 hectares with several industrial buildings on it. The technological production area of 20 thousand sq. meters includes 4 film studios, two sound ateliers and other facilities.
