The company was established in 1993 as a collective enterprise. In 1999 it was reorganized as a private company.
The “Molniya-1” company is a private agricultural enterprise located in the North-Eastern part of Kharkiv oblast (70 kilometers from the city of Kharkiv, 25 kilometers from Volchansk and 1 kilometer from a railway station).
Company
owned arable land is equal to 6150 square hectares.
The number of employees: 220
persons (98 of them are women). The product distribution is:
Kharkiv – 50 %
Volchansk – 30 %
Inside the enterprise – 20 %.
The company sells its
products through wholesalers and 2 company stores.
The advantages of the company are that it has a very good location and
the high
quality and wide assortment of products.
The company provides the following:
- Bread products (white bread, black bread, rolls, pies with jam and poppy-seeds fillings, pryaniks (kind of cake)
- Macaroni products.
- Groats (pearl-barley, buckwheat, millet).
- Sunflower oil.
- Grain, sunflower, sugar-beets.
- Beef, pork, goose meat.
The annual production of its
main products are:
Grains – 9000 tons;
Sunflower – 1200 tons;
Sugar-beets – 15000 tons.
Between 1997 and 2000, the amount of bakery products has increased nearly seven times.
The enterprise possesses the
following live-stock:
Cattle – 1200;
Pigs – 1000;
Geese – 4000.
