The agricultural production firm Nadiya was founded in 1995 on the basis of collectively owned property of 18 agricultural collective farms in the district.
The enterprise produces more than 60 different kinds of produce. The capacity of canned fruit and vegetable producing shop is 2640 tubes (2,296,800 conditional jars) and of canned meat is 600 tubes (522,000 conditional cans). They also mill flour on modern equipment purchased from Italy.
The company is interested in exporting its products.

Representatives of this company were selected to participate in the Marshall Plan, Fruit and Vegetable study tour to the USA in August 1998.
