Nove Zhytya (A New Life) is a former collective farm that has been recently transformed into a Joint Stock company in 1999. Its activity is very diversified. It has cattle which produce milk that is supplied to the Kharkiv Khladprom, one of the leading ice-cream manufacturers. Most part of the vegetables are delivered immediately to customers in Kharkiv and in the adjacent towns and villages. About 30 % (mostly potatoes) are stored in storage facilities in a traditional Ukrainian way in large containers up to 200-400 kg each.
