The group is based in Ukraine’s most advanced industrial region, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and includes Nerudstroikomplekt (NSK) and Repair and Mechanical Plant (RMZ).

1.General

1.1.NSK

NSK, the leading member in the group, is a private enterprise owned by Vladimir V. Selyanin who also is its Director.  The firm:

  1. Mines granite from its own quarry near Apostolovo,
  2. Makes various products for industrial and consumer applications and large-size artwork from stone, and
  3. Makes and renovates one-of-a-kind furniture and nonstandard carpentry articles.

1.2. RMZ

RMZ is a public stock company with 88 percent equity belonging to Mr. V. Selyanin. RMZ constitutes the major production facility of the group.

The plant currently produces traction gears for electric trains, various processing equipment, spare parts for electric locomotive power circuits, etc. It has expertise in making traveling bridge cranes, reduction gears, equipment for brick works, one-of-a-type bronze articles for doors and windows, lighting fixtures etc. and in repairing various equipment.

RMZ has 250 pieces of equipment. Most of the equipment, although workable, is 10+ years old and includes:

  • ferrous and nonferrous foundry (purchased recently)
  • heat treatment furnaces,
  • forging and pressing equipment,
  • instrument tools, including turning, screw-cutting, milling, and grinding machines.

The plant is connected to a railroad branch line.

2.Research and Production Expansion Plans

NSK runs the group’s Research and Engineering Center whose tasks are:

  • search, development and implementation of advanced technologies,
  • development and support of quality control system for the group, and
  • outside services.

The Group’s purpose is to shift to high-tech products competitive in international markets. To this end, it collaborates with many local universities and R&D organizations.  Following are the major lines of R&D.

2.1. Ultrafine polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder production from wastes via proprietary processes (see Appendix below).

2.2. PTFE powder based semiproducts and finished products, such as additives to standard lubricants, lacquers, paints and coatings

2.3. Commercial processes for PTFE coating of pipes, shaft lining, household appliances, clothing, etc.

2.4. Development of high-efficient heaters of cavitation type

2.5. Non-conventional processes for making ultra-pure copper

2.6. Development and commercialization of self-lubricating bearings utilizing impregnation of pores by Teflon condensation

2.7. Reclaiming crankshafts and other parts by detonation plating

3. Innovative Products Planned for Near Term

Investments/orders for manufacture of following advanced products for domestic and international markets are being looked for.

3.1. PTFE additives for lubricants, paints, lacquers, protective pastes and coatings.

3.2. Drinking water purification modules in 5 sizes.

3.3. Electroaerosol and other state-of-the-art sprayers for pesticides in several sizes.

3.4. Environmentally clean furniture of transform section type with 3D honeycomb reinforcement.

4. Collaboration Forms

The group will accept any collaboration form that will help maximize gains on the investments.

A joint venture, a joint stock company or any other corporate form may be accepted, provided that it is profitable for all partners and not prohibited by law of the countries involved.
