Private company «Prodex» was established in 1998 by Yuriy Shapovalov who is the Director and owner of the company. The company rents 30 hectares of land as well as concluded agreements on arranging joint production with some agricultural firms.
Beans and pumpkin are canned at Balakleya Prodtovary by agreement.
In 1999 the company sold 20,000 cans of beans with pork fat in tomato sauce (0,5 liter) and 300 kg. of pumpkin-apple jam.
