The Rogan Meat Processing Company, located in Kharkiv, Ukraine is seeking to expand its meat and sausage production operations. The firm was founded in 1974 and currently employs 465.
The production level of meat products is currently at 90 tons of meat per shift. In addition, it produces 33 tons of sausage products per shift, made up as follows:

Recently, the demand for smoked products has been increasing. The company therefore now plans to change its product mix. and to improve its operation. The basic objectives are to:
- To increase production volumes
- To economize on meat resources
- To decrease production costs
- To increase competitiveness by introducing advanced technologies using modern equipment, food additives and spices
- To improve product packaging
In order to meet these objectives, the company plans to purchase the following equipment in addition to various additives and packaging materials.
The Cost of the project is estimated at 540,000 Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH).
The Profit from the use of this equipment is 140,000 UAH per year.
The Recovery Period is thus 540,000 / 140,000 = 3.94 years
The most desirable way to work with a foreign investor is through a Common Project.
