Verbovskoe is an open joint stock company founded in 1996 employing 511 people.
The company is located in the village of Verbovka owing 5,403 hectares of land of which; 3,900 are arable. They have 1,500 cattle and 500 milk cows.
There is a sausage processing facility making 19 varieties of sausages, smoked, and boiled sausage. In 1999 they produced 42 tons of sausage and in 2000 plan to increase sausage production to 64 tons
They distribute their products through wholesalers, company owned stores, as well as barter (25%).
