Four-block radial forging machine is the development of our engineers based on four-block forging device. It offers all those advantages the conventional radial forging machines do while being much more adaptable and flexible to your specific needs and by far cheaper. Your mechanical forging press can also be redesigned into the machine.

The machine consists of electric drive, crank mechanism, bed and four-block forging device. The machine can be combined with one or two manipulators to feed and cant workpieces (blanks) in accordance with a program specified.

The machine makes it possible to manufacture round, square, hexagon and rectangular forgings, including those with variable cross-section of alloy steel, alloys and nonferrous metals. Precision of products forged in the machine is by 30-50 % higher than that obtained by conventional forging methods. Forging output by 2-3 times exceeds the one of press forging.

Peculiarity of the machine is its simple design and low cost in comparison with known radial forging machines.

The machine can be made both as per individual special design and via retrofit of available crank hot-forging presses.
