Abstract

Power-technological hydrogen processing with the help of reversible metal hydrides includes the following technological processes:

• hydrogen purification from gas impurities
• hydrogen allocation from gas mixtures
• separation of hydrogen isotopes
• spin-isomeric transformations
• metal-hydride energy converters
• hydrogen compression
• hydrogen getters
• hydrogen fragmentation of hydride-forming materials
• generating hydrogen in energy-excited state
• hydrogen technologies of obtaining surer-pure materials
• plasma-chemical processes applying hydrogen.

The created samples of engineering provide implementation with each from the indicated operations, or their combination (for example: hydrogen allocation from gas mixtures), hydrogen purification, its compression and supplying in energetically excited state. There are possible other versions of combination of processes within the framework of single technological aggregate.

The developed equipment exceeds existing samples of engineering executing similar functions by its power efficiency.

Financing Sources

The separated sections of the project are adjusted as an application to obtain the grant from NATO foundation.
