Universal Composite Hard Lubricant (TS-Technology)

Environmentally safe, energy- and resource-saving converted TS-technology (hard lubricant) is proposed to restore and improve machines and mechanisms without disassembling them. It results in raising their power, economical operation, service life, ecological characteristics. The expenses for their maintenance and repair sharply decrease. The technology may be used to process the surfaces of friction made of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, polymers and rubbers. It is especially efficient for heavily-loaded mechanisms and their parts: internal combustion engines, compressors of all types, reduction gears and power drives, hydraulic systems, bearings, splined joints and chain transmissions, running gears, etc.

As distinct from any existing analogs, the composite hard lubricant allows to simultaneously solve several problems: to ensure a good alignment of mating parts, to restore them, and to decrease the friction coefficient in ten times.

The hard lubricant is not an additive to oils and therefore does not influence their characteristics, just improving the properties of the surface layers of the mating parts. Being a metal-polymer composition, dispersed in the oil in the form of finely divided microparticles, it reaches the places of intensive friction (cylinder ring - cylinder liner, shaft - bearing, etc.) and forms a renewable cladding layer 5-15 mm thick, having unique antifriction, antiscuffing and antiwearing properties, and firmly connected with the metal. Being processed only once, the mechanism will work during all its service life.

Having being formed, the protective layer cannot be destroyed by high mechanical loads or chemical reagents, neither it dissolves in hydrocarbonaceous mediums. It reduces temperature of friction, which results in better conditions of the latter. The lubricant effectively works in hydrocarbonaceous mediums, water, acids and alkalis. It restores rubber and other seals, considerably extending their service life and functional properties. The lubricant is well kept in bearings.

When the hard lubricant is used in the crankcase oil of the internal combustion engine, its power increases for more than 10-15%, the compression increases for 30%, the fuel consumption decreases and the oil-change period lengthens considerably, the toxicity of the exhaust decreases in 2 times, the noise of gear wheels is eliminated, and the engine’s service life lengthens in 1.8-2 times.

The proposed composite material may also be used as a sealant, component of high-quality greases, as well as a filling agent in thermosoftening and thermosetting polymers and rubbers that highly improves their antifriction properties.

The universal composite hard lubricant differs from the existing additives to machine oils and is remarkable for the results obtained and its relatively low cost. It is stable and may be stored and kept for a long time. It may also be merged with big volumes of usual lubricants. All this makes the TS-technology very competitive at the world market.
